We are joined by crypto market strategist, Jamie Coutts.

Jamie has had 25 years of market experience, having worked for Bloomberg and several hedge funds, such as Credit Suisse. He was also instrumental in building the crypto research product which is now a part of Bloomberg Intelligence.

In this conversation we do not just pick Jamie’s brain on all things bitcoin, but broaden the discussion to include the concept of money. Jamie explains the two main forms of currency and what makes them valuable, as well as detailing the current forces that are driving inflation.

We also ask Jamie about the upcoming bitcoin halving, as well as the emergence of BRICS and central bank digital currencies.

Jamie also discusses fiat currency and how banks utilise fractional reserve lending.
