Lyle Shelton has fought at the forefronts of culture wars in Australia for over 20 years in his role(s) as; a local government councillor, managing director of the Australian Christian Lobby and current national director of the Family First Party.

Lyle has spent his career promoting the rights and protections of women and children, the freedom of speech, thought, expression, association and religion and the retention of Christian and family values in Australia.

In 2017 Lyle was the leading voice in the “No” campaign on the same-sex marriage plebiscite, where he proficiently warned us of the social and legal consequences of such legislation.

Join us as we discuss the unfortunate confirmation of the predictions made by the Coalition for Marriage at the passing of the “The Marriage Amendment (Definition and Religious Freedoms) Act 2017” with a focus on recent Victorian legislation in light of the fast-approaching state election.
