I arrived just before the buzzer!!
There were literally just two copies of the original cover and that's it!!

If you've ever read a detective novel or even an old mystery movie, THE DEATH OF DOCTOR STRANGE is very much channeling that kind of setup, pacing, and plot structure.. This is very much a WHODUNNIT and, surprisingly, it works out very well for this first chapter of the story, which splits out into at least three acts...........
The narrative is very simple and straightforward, yet intriguing because we get a quick character analysis of the Dr Strange who was and the Dr Strange who is.. meaning, we get a quick snapshot of how an arrogant surgeon with a god-complex turned into a mighty NOBLE SUPERHERO who literally fights against gods.
But nothing is as it seems, because every small battle that Dr Stephen Strange fights on an average NYC day is actually a small clue to a much larger, darker plot looming in the background... the void is stirring and the heralds of its presence are starting to wreak havoc and mayhem in the human realm of Earth
And then, of course, we return to the murder mystery........The unexpected knock at Dr. Strange's door, the arrival of an unseen visitor whom the doctor knows but is not excited to see, and then the final words of our beloved hero as he is pinned against a wall and breathing his last human air...............
...........the friends and mourners arrive at the residence, but so do the suspects....... and, in the background, still the presence of a dark energy quickly descending upon the unprotected realm of Earth...........
Wow.. yea, great twists and turns, hints of suspense and splashes of well-illustrated action made this a fun and exciting read.
BUT, it's also a crossover event that won't sum up until January 2022!!!
