Brody Levesque is a veteran journalist and is Executive Producer of

Rated LGBTQ Radio and a contributing editor for New York City-based
Uncloseted
Media. 

Brody

served most recently as the Editor-in-Chief of the Los Angeles Blade
during which time the publication was awarded the GLAAD Barbara
Gittings award for excellence in journalism and a Los Angeles Press
Club award for the Blade’s coverage of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Levesque

has been involved in queer media since 2008 as a founding
correspondent
serving as the Washington Bureau Chief for LGBTQ Nation, a
web-only based magazine covering politics, culture, and commentary.

Levesque has also written for other queer news outlets including Pink

News UK, The New Civil Rights Movement, The Washington Blade, The
Huffington
Post
,
Bay Area Reporter, Hot Spots Magazine, Gay Star News UK, Georgia
Voice, and has contributed to The Sydney

A

long time wire service political
reporter,
Levesque commenced his over four decades long career with UPI in 1981
and also worked for Reuters
and Agence
France-Presse. 

In

addition to covering The White House, Capitol Hill, the Pentagon and
the federal government in Washington D.C., he also has been assigned
overseas covering the European Union and the Russian Federation.

In

addition to his work as a journalist Levesque is a historian and in
2015 published his first book;
The
Sunshine Special: FDR's 1939 Lincoln K Series Presidential Limousine
in
association with the Benson Ford Research Centre at the Henry Ford
Museum in Dearborn, Michigan. 

The book is a historical account of

the early days of U.S. presidential automotive transportation and the
history of the first custom built presidential state-car, earmarked
for use by a sitting president, Franklin D. Roosevelt.
