Movement is key for brain health 🧠 But what if the spine isn’t moving well enough? 🤔 It’s suspected when spinal movement has deteriorated it will not only affect mechanics of a joint but the feedback going to the brain. This could have an impact on your nerves 😬 There are things you can do to make sure this doesn’t happen:
✅ move more: exercise, stretch
✅ avoid being stationary too long: sitting in a desk or sofa
✅ get therapy: chiropractic, massage and physio are all great
This is not an exhausted list but it certainly will ensure that the body is functioning much better. There are tests you can use to measure these things which we I use with clients:
✅ posture
✅ balance
✅ coordination
✅ ranges of motion
✅ strength
These can tell how well a spine is or IS NOT moving 😉

Even though my life is hectic and it never seems like there is enough time in the day I will always make time for ⏰: ✅ exercises ✅ meditation ✅ making whole foods meals ✅ get Chiropractic and massage It doesn’t matter how busy my life gets I am super anal about making sure that these things all get done! 😫 Why?! Well our bodies are only so resistant to stress, whether that’s physical, chemical or emotional 😭 With this in mind if I’m putting that stress on my body I want to make sure it is in tip top shape for resisting it 😉

If at first you don’t succeed, try and try again 😉 So this is my third attempt at doing a Facebook live today, as I’m not one to be beaten. ⚔️ First attempt in the house, my partner walked straight in the video. 🎥 The second she started knocking on my car door 🚪 The third she cannot interrupt as she is not in the house and isn’t going to as she is at work! 🧳 Success is not normal first time, and in many things you will have to continually try and adapt to get to success. 🎉 When you get to success often it drives you for more but there are always hiccups or twists n turns 😵 If you have a hiccup eg you cheat a meal or miss a day in the gym it doesn’t mean you are done, it just means you have to pick yourself up. ⬆️ I could have given up after the second video easily but here I am as I hate failing my clients.
I also don’t mind failure as it reaches me a lesson:
✅ 1. Don’t give up
✅ 2. Don’t do any live videos around my girlfriend
✅ 3. It’s easy enough to mess up
✅ 4. Nothing that bad has occurred from messing up other than embarrassing myself I love learning from mistakes, hence I’m now gonna try one more time miles away from my partner so she can’t walk into video number 3 ☝️

What do you do directly before you fall asleep 💤 Do you stress or relax 😕 Taken from the book of Jobe; “In a dream, in a vision of the night, When deep sleep falls upon men, While slumbering on their beds, Then He opens the ears of men, And seals their instruction.” This quote is one of my favourite and one I try to follow so much. 😍 The reason I ask is the 8 hours we sleep we become sub-conscious and this is the time we are going to stew on all of the things we think about as we fall into sleep 😴 If you spend the last 10-20 minutes thinking about all the bad things that happened in your day, you will marinade your brain in those subconscious thoughts 💭 Then the brain will continue to look for them through out you day. 🧠 Make yourself different and reflect on all of the good in your life and seal you fate 😉

What is the big deal about using a mobile phone? 📱 Why do they cause so many problems? 🤔 The ironic thing is I do all of my videos from my phone, but I really try to limit my mobile usage! 😆 The reason being is text neck has actually become a coined term. This means that the medical profession has identified it as a trigger for neck problems/injuries 🤕  The call “text neck” This isn’t limited to mobiles but more mobile devices, this includes mobiles, tablets and laptops, among others 💻 But why such a big deal ?!?! 🤷♂️

The lesson I’m learning from Bitcoin/crypto currency 💴 For those of you who don’t know what crypto currency is I wonder where you may have been living as Elon musk has now invested billions and will accept Bitcoin for Tesla’s 🚗 Crypto currency is a new concept digital currency. 💰 Now even though I don’t understand all the ins and outs it is a very interesting concept as it takes banks and hedge funds out of control of money movement. 🤔 But the lesson I’m learning is it’s very volatile, I know people who have made a lot of money trading and others that have lost just as much. 😕 One thing I’ve observed is those who try to change things too often end up losing. Those who find a good deal and stick with it for months and even years are growing their capital more. 🎉 This is so much like health. There are those who jump from craze to craze hoping to find the next best thing and all the while they are losing money and losing health 😞 While others who find health habits and sustain it see much better long term prognosis ie they get better faster 💨 Now I see exactly the same things taking place with my patients, I have those who are really good at sticking to then programme and we have those who are not, which do you think do best 🧐

🚨 Your daily dose of complete health 🚨 It was so good to see Cristiano Ronaldo remove the Coca Cola from his desk at a conference and replace it with water. 💧 The mainstream media has used celebrities to endorse unhealthy options for years. 📆 It uses people like Anthony Joshua for lucozade which is essentially sugar water 🥊 They used the 2012 olympics in london and the main endorsement was coke and McDonald’s 🏃♀️ We use our main football teams, stadiums, prime time tv and radio to endorse food and drink that is promoting some of th biggest disease on the planet 🌎 So thank you Ronaldo for sticking to principle and costing coke millions of not billions in sales 😉

🚨 Your daily dose of Complete Health 🚨 So the geek that I am I was watching a documentary on Netflix yesterday (yes I’m really that guy) It was called bleeding edge 🩸 It was all about the new “cutting edge” technology used in medicine. Well what this documentary showed is it wasn’t all that cutting edge 😕 There are so many examples of conditions I see where surgery and procedures are vital 🙏 There are also tonnes where there are much better options. We are very quick to get under the knife 🔪 But maybe we should evaluate what we could do to prevent these problems from occurring in the first place 🤔
