The stock and cryptocurrency market has done the exact opposite of what was expected once the pandemic was seen in the rear-view mirror. While there are lots of not-so-innocent victims in the scams and misguided hype, I feel for those who sought into these avenues for a way to make money in an extreme capitalist country that continues to punish the lower classes.
