In this unedited, unaltered July 4th special, I argue about how the news media in the U.S. focuses on profits and secret division above delivering the actual news and useful information that would make Americans better understand the nuisances, history, culture, and wide diversity of their own country.

In honor of Independence Day I discuss how we should overhaul education to better prepare people to understand the deep immigrant-filled history of the United States and why it creates a diversity that extends much further than the two-party system currently pissing us all off. Even if America doesn’t deserve to celebrate the 2022 edition of July 4th, every person deserves to have their story told, regardless of state, and it starts with making information more accessible to all citizens and non-citizens.
