On August 28, 2003, pizza delivery man Brian Douglas Wells <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bank_robbery" target="_blank" rel="noopener">robbed</a> a <a href= "https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PNC_Financial_Services" target= "_blank" rel="noopener">PNC Bank</a> near his hometown of <a href= "https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erie,_Pennsylvania" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Erie</a>, <a href= "https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pennsylvania" target="_blank" rel= "noopener">Pennsylvania</a>, United States. Upon being apprehended by police, Wells died when an <a href= "https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Collar_bomb" target="_blank" rel= "noopener">explosive collar</a> locked to his neck detonated.
