Summer is the time to go to the cinema! This week, Wanson and Allen share their lists of films they look forward to in the summer of 2024.

Taiwanese short film MAMU premieres in London!

Welcome to Cinematic Motif, your weekly guide to the fascinating realm of movies in Taiwan and beyond.

Each week, Wanson, a film columnist and content creator, introduces one Taiwanese film, treating it as a motif to help us explore other films around the world that share the similar theme. Occasionally on the show, Wanson welcomes people from the film industry to talk about the movies that made them who they are.

Cinematic Motif broadcasts on shortwave every Saturday and is available on demand - don't miss out!
