Jonas Taylor (Jason Statham) is a rough-and-tumble deep sea rescue operative at the top of his game . . . Until the day he had to choose between the mission and saving his friends. And well… he chose the mission. He said something was down there that was going to kill them all. Everyone else said that he was crazy. So, of course, he retired to Thailand where he became a drunk. Until his wife, on a mission of science, went below the bottom of the ocean (yeah, you heard that right) to discover the thing that Jonas ran into at the beginning of the film – A MEGALODON SHARK!

The shark attacks, kills some people…. Attacks again and kills more people… Attacks again and kills MORE people until Jonas comes up with a plan to put the shark on ice for good!
