Herein lies a rather detailed and fully expanded upon analysis of Charlie Kaufman's latest "I'm Thinking Of Ending Things" (available on Netflix). This film was.......thicc with deets, so we thought we'd unpack it for a bit! I realize this is nearly as long as the movie itself, haha, but it was originally 2 1/3 hours that I cut down! Sorry, I'll continue working on being more concise-but I am happy with the outcome. I believe Wifey and I got to some interesting points, and I certainly have a better understanding now of a fairly confusing film. but so brilliant when you examine all the puzzle pieces Kaufman scattered in every line of dialogue! Worth a 2nd and 3rd viewing definitely.
