Today's guest is a favorite of mine because she's a friend of mine in real life! Francesca Van is a student at UW Madison and my brother-in-law's girlfriend (basically my future sister-in-law, right? 😍) Francesca is super smart, driven and compassionate with a love for public health. But she's also a college student dealing with chronic issues including endometriosis, gut issues, headaches, anxiety and hearing loss.
Today Francesca takes us through what it's like to be a full-time college student dealing with chronic illness and how she took her health into her own hands. Whether you're a student or not, I know you'll enjoy this episode!
In today's episode we chat about ...
- What Francesca is going to school for and how she hopes to change the world
- Living with chronic illness in college
- Taking the initiative to take care of yourself
- Francesca’s experience with anxiety while in school
- Having a strong support system that lives far away
Listen in to today's episode and let me know what you think!
