, ESV) Christ’s call is to follow, and since—per Ephesians 5—the marriage of Christ and His Church is the true marriage, we all have a vested interest in helping God’s design for marriage be known and practiced. Being a Christian family is about forgiving as we have been forgiven by Christ, and about growing in faith, hope, and love.
