Tyler, a sixteen-year-old boy with a love for the outdoors,
hunting, and fishing, finds himself in a world turned upside down by adevastating zombie apocalypse. As chaos reigns and society crumbles, Tyler andhis family are forced to leave behind their peaceful life in the wilderness andseek refuge in a heavily fortified camp. They soon discover that their new homeis anything but safe, and their dreams of finding sanctuary quickly fade away.
Within the camp's walls, fear and paranoia fester as the
government responsible for their protection slowly disintegrates. The refugeesare left to fend for themselves, facing not only the threat of theever-encroaching undead but also the dangers lurking among their fellowsurvivors. Tensions rise as resources dwindle, and the once tightly-knitcommunity splinters into factions, each vying for control of the dwindlingsupplies.
Tyler, with his practical skills and knowledge of the
wilderness, becomes an invaluable asset to the camp. As the fragile peaceinside the camp begins to unravel, Tyler finds himself torn between loyalty tohis family and a growing sense of responsibility to protect the camp'sinhabitants from the threats both inside and outside the wire.
As the world outside the fence descends into anarchy, the
undead grow ever more relentless in their hunger for human flesh. Desperate tofind a way to save the camp, Tyler embarks on a dangerous mission to search fora rumored safe haven. Along the way, he forms alliances with other survivors,each with their own unique skills and stories of loss.
Back in the camp, the situation becomes increasingly dire as
the undead breach the outer defenses, and the survivors must make impossiblechoices to protect their loved ones. Amidst the chaos, Tyler learns the hardtruth about the disintegrating government and must face the reality that theironly hope for survival lies in their own hands.
