People who invest money in China are seriously concerned about the wave of Covid-19 which has spread across the country in the spring of 2022. With daily cases numbering in the thousands, cities such as Shanghai and Shenzhen have been subject to lockdowns. The longer the crisis continues, the more profound the impact on China’s economic growth. There are international implications, too, as many countries depend on Chinese supply chains for vital goods and services.
