David and Joe chat with Nigel Richardson, author of 'The Accidental Detectorist'. David latches on to Nigel and begs him to be his detectorist guru asking if he'll ever stop feeling like a wally when he's out and about with all the gear and if it can ever be sexy. Crucially, David wants to know what his chances are of ever finding anything worthwhile. Nigel shows off his hoard of finds which invigorates David to carry on with his new found hobby.Buy Nigel's book here http://nigel-richardson.co.uk/https://www.instagram.com/the_accidental_detectorist/FOR ALL THINGS CHATABIX'Y FOLLOW/SUBSCRIBE/CONTACT: You Tube: https://www.youtube.com/@chatabixpodcast Twitter: https://twitter.com/chatabix1Insta: https://www.instagram.com/chatabixpodcast/Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/chatabixMerch: https://chatabixshop.com/Contact us: chatabix@yahoo.com
Hosted on Acast. S10 Ep 406 Back Catalogue Guest: James O’Brien

Comedians Joe Wilkinson & David Earl chat utter drivel to each other 3 - 5 days a week. They natter to celebrities and deep dive into guests with interesting lives (as theirs is so boring). Occasionally they plan a surprise for each other to pep it up a bit. David loves hearing about behind the scenes stuff from TV shows and writing jingles. Joe likes adventuring and is obsessed with the podcast charts. Sometimes they'll embark on a day out podding together just so they can get out of the house. It's a brilliantly chaotic podcast which occasionally covers regular topics like TV Reviews, Snooker, Canal boating and Music. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
