She started Concoctions over 10 years ago as a liquor store with a very small bar. She grew her business doing festivals, private parties, mobile drink trucks, and in November 2020 she opened a brick-and-mortar bar offering drinks to-go. According to Hyacinth, if you’re going to be an entrepreneur, you have to be able to take the good with the bad. And you are not a business owner until you pay taxes.
