In behaviorism, treatment focuses on behavior that can be seen from the outside. In this episode; Elizabeth and Hillary discuss the place of emotions, thoughts, and feelings within ABA. They talk about how emotions are conceptualized and how clients can be taught to identify and cope with their emotions through the lens of behaviorism. Importantly, the ladies also identify what parts of emotions are within the scope of behavior analysis and issues that need to be addressed by other mental health professionals.
