Ephesians‬ ‭6‬:‭14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬“Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,”Soldiers wear a breastplate or a bulletproof vest because it protects one of the most vital organs of the body which is the heart. If a soldier does not wear his breastplate or bulletproof vest, he is prone to a fatal attack because a wound to the heart is instant death! So, why does Paul call this piece of armour the breastplate of righteousness?
