Intelligent, deep conversations about Goth culture
Cemetery Confessions is an amazing podcast that shows that Goth is much more than the mainstream perception of depressed people wearing black. It looks at Goth from a multitude of perspectives, covering every aspect of what it means to be in this community. Definitely a gem for those who love Gothโ€”but if Goth is not your thing, give it a try anyway. The conversations are always interesting, and the host and guests always authentic.

More academic talk please!!!
I listened to the Italian goth podcast today and I would like more nerdy gothic stuff. It is hard to find academic goth broadcasts. It saddens me when the one host said that was too intellectual. So they do not so as much of that type. Or that he himself was too nerdy. How is that possible? Please do more and/or lead me to those podcasts. Listen to people joke or tell stories about the scene is fine but I would love more in depth book reviews and academic topics. I find people think goth is just clothing and other superficial subjects. It gets droll. So, more please! And often!

Iโ€™m so glad I found this as the pandemic started. Itโ€™s thought provoking and covers diverse topics. These are the people want to share fireside chats with. This podcast supplies the intellectual content I miss so much these days.

Gatekeepy but Smart
Iโ€™ve only just started listening, and I would like to say that the hosts are smart and articulate. I like the music they play and the depth that they go into on a variety of topics. The ascetics of the show is excellent. My only complaint is it seems like the hosts do quite a lot of gatekeeping. Being as that I am from a small town in Alabama, I donโ€™t often get to interact with the scene. I feel a little alienated to be honest, because they consistently seem to talk about the importance of interacting with the scene in person when that is a privilege of living where there is a scene. Still, even though I donโ€™t always agree with their take on what it means to be goth, they put together an excellent show. If you are interested in following a podcast that is an insiders perspective on the goth scene as well as get exposed to all sorts of cool goth stuff, look no further. I hope that as I dig into more episodes I will fine more of them talking about meaning in gothic music, literature, and fashion with less gatekeeping. Keep it up guys.

Lord, have Mercy
People who donโ€™t know talking about who and what they donโ€™t know. The only true/correct thing said in the entire interview was that Joe Kopnick started the Asylum Gothic Outreach Ministry in 1998.

Goth Therapy
I found this show while searching for something to help me through severe anxiety issues and a recent spike in being bullied at my workplace. This show hooked me from the first episode I listened to. This show really helps me feel like Iโ€™m not alone and gives me tons of things to consider and ponder. I particularly love the episodes that talk about growing older and struggles and rewards of remaining in the subculture. The hosts are professional, funny and engaging. I couldnโ€™t have asked for a more perfect podcast!

Awesome Podcast!
I've recently found this podcast and was hooked from the beginning. This podcast covers various topics about and within the goth scene with a chilled, laid back presentation but it's also insightful and informative in its content. Even though I don't consider myself goth, I'm loving the podcast. Keep up the good work and looking forward to new content!

I'm so happy to have discovered this podcast! I live in a place with basically no goth scene so this helps me feel connected, plus it's just entertaining.

Because I'm broke and want to support you
I enjoy and appreciate the show especially since I'm in a place where there is no real goth scene. I'm just breaking out of my "baby bat" phase so I'd love to hear more advice on both fashion and other aspects of the lifestyle! Thank you so much for making these awesome shows for free and I look forward to listening to you in the future!

A modern podcast that harkens back to the Decadent Salons of the Victorian era
Intelligent and humorous; more than simply another podcast focusing on only one aspect of the scene, Cemetery Confessions offers a banquet of all things goth, from interesting issues and topics to music and fashion.

Gateway into a subculture
I ran into this pocast because it made it into the top 10 in the pocast awards. I have never been a goth myself but its a great look into what the subculter is and even being a nongoth I find the pocast very enjoyable and end up learning at least one new thing every episode. Keep up the great work!

Awesome!
Great podcast! Very professional yet laid back! Well done! Sasha is silly. I love that you guys talked about how to dress in a corporate environment, beer, music, etc. I also love that you are welcoming to different subcultures or subgroups of goth. Thank you!!!!

An unbiased opinion
I am a cohost on the show and this is the greatest show on the planet probably, maybe, I dunno, I don't listen to podcasts. But I do know that it is THE ONLY goth talk podcast on the planet. Also we review beer, so yeah. You will probably be somewhere between 4% and 33% more intelligent after listening to this show. Most likely. Also, darkness and despair ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

There's nothing like this
Cemetery Confessions is alot like what would have happened if one of those 80s-90s Goth magazines like Propaganda had its own syndicated radio show. Today, now that virtually all of those magazines are dead this show fills a void, giving people a place to hear album & movie reviews, talk about recent news relating to the subculture, and share personal anecdotes that would normally be lost in the chatter of today's social media.
