Leave to Remain is a faux spy-novel in 6 parts, possessed by the spirit of Janus: doubleness, duplicity, two-facedness – written by two authors (one French, one American) and performed by two narrators (with special guests).Chapter 1 : in which Janus attempts to enjoy a meal "between wars" and between cases. The background of their conversation reveals some of the major questions they face (from their two faces!) throughout the book.
