After the death of their friend and collaborator Charles Ludlam in 1987, the legendary Ethyl Eichelberger wrote this adaptation of the Joan of Arc story for Black-Eyed Susan as a way to "be strong". Some 30 years later, Black-Eyed Susan revisits this text in a hallucinatory new medium.
