If we're going to denounce those visual maifestations of bigotry and racism then we should address the structual issues in this country,as Alex points out the racist drug war is a gigantic part of this.

To get smoking rates below ten percent you have to look at harm reduction as a serious option.

New York just set the price floor at 13 dollars for a pack of cigarettes.

In Australia by 2020 you will pay $40.00 for a pack of cigarettes.

Criminalizing posession is not something CASAA supports.

New York talked about criminalizing posession and certainly more places are looking at the issue.

Minnesota continues to roll with tobacco 21.

Maine's legislature overuled the governor's veto of the tobacco 21 bill.

Governor Le Page's statement on raising the age to vote,get a drivers license and go into the miltary to 21..

Five states have passed tobacco 21:Maine,Oregon,Hawaii,California and New Jersey.

More than a dozen states rejected tobacco 21 this year.
