Today, I am joined by Dr. Venki Ramakrishnan, structural biologist, former President of the Royal Society, 2009 laureate of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for his work on ribosomes, and author of Gene Machine: The Race to Decipher the Secrets of the Ribosome and Why We Die: The New Science of Aging and the Quest for Immortality.
