The percutaneous coronary intervention prior to transcatheter aortic valve implantation (ACTIVATION) trial (#ACTIVATIONtrial) tested the strategy the #PCI before #TAVR Vs #TAVR without #PCI in patients with significant #CAD without significant #angina. Unfortunately the trial was terminated because of slow enrollment. Yet, it shed light on important issue in the holistic management of #TAVR patients. With newer evidences for management for #TAVR patients, more and more people are going to be screened for and offered #TAVR. Management of concomitant #CAD in these patients is an important issue. In this video we discuss about the #ActivationTrial and what to do for #CAD in patients undergoing #TAVR.
