A Confederacy of Dunces is an enjoyable read without much thematic complexity-- is that reason enough for it to be read?  Would we be better off reading a book that takes on more important ideas?  Join us this week as we debate the merits of this Pulitzer Prize-winning novel.

This is the first book of our series on Postmodern Novels of the South.  Next week we will continue our series with Swamplandia! by Karen Russel.
