What happens when we have been cleansed by Christ? What are the marks of a person who has a relationship with God? Are there things that should happen when we have confessed Christ as our Lord? Ephesians 2:8-9 inform us that salvation is by grace through faith. But then verse 10 informs us that we have been predestined to good works. So what are these works? In the narrative this morning, we discover that one of the works that mark a true believer is the desire to share the good news of Christ with others. When we see Jesus for who he is, we cannot help but proclaim it.  Over the past few weeks we have been examining the glorious cleansing form sin found in Christ. We learned from the Pharisees that this cleansing does not come through religious traditions. We learned from the Syrophoenician woman that this cleansing comes through Christ and is available to all.
