Hiding Among the Stuff

When God called Saul to be king, he wasn't standing boldly before the people. He was hiding among the baggage.

How often do we do the same?

God calls us to step into His purpose, but fear, insecurity, distractions, and the opinions of others cause us to hide among the "stuff" of life. We bury our calling beneath our excuses. We conceal our potential behind our comfort zones.

The tragedy wasn't that Saul started out hiding. The tragedy was that he never fully overcame it.

God doesn't call the qualified. He qualifies the called.

Don't let fear keep you hidden when God is calling you forward. The same God who sees your weaknesses also sees your potential. He knows where you're hiding, and He's still calling your name.

Stop hiding among the stuff.
Step into what God has called you to become.
