I’m sure a few of these will resonate with a lot of you. These are the 5 things I think people put too much emphasis on when trying to lose fat when there is SO much more they could be focusing on.

Hitting a plateau is often an easier way of saying "I've not adhered to my diet properly for a while and haven't been seeing results so there must be another reason for it".
OR
You have adhered to your diet and genuinely haven't been seeing results and can't figure out why.
Usually people throw in the towel before waiting it out and seeing the results after 2-3 weeks. They'll revert to their old ways as they are disheartened and then start from scratch again when they feel like it.
Or maybe they try to counter act the 'plateau' by drastically dropping calories and increasing training but don't realise this is only exacerbating things and I'm going to explain why in this episode.

Probably the number one excuse I see people make when it comes to giving up on their goals, not making progress or getting stuck in a vicious cycle when it comes to their food/exercise.
I speak about how will power/motivation can be strengthened, but also how you need to set yourself up for success first and be specific in terms of your goals.
"Motivation is fleeting, discipline is reliable. The question isn't how to keep yourself motivated; it's how to train yourself to work without it".
I spoke about this same topic in my weekly email a few weeks back also - so if you'd like to receive those, sign up below:
