This podcast is my research of the application of Calculus in Economics. It would include three parts: first, differential calculus, and marginal analysis. second, the When to cut the tree problem to examine the use of calculus in optimization. third, on the use of integral calculus in finding consumer surplus.

This podcast is inspired by “The Beauty of Calculus,” a Lecture by Steven Strogatz - YouTube and the open course website Calculus of econ (ucla.edu). "When to cut the tree" assignment was taken from the Time's assignment chapter of the aforementioned course
