For the College Board’s Advanced Placement (or AP) U.S. Government and Politics exam, students must know 15 required Supreme Court cases, stretching from the 1803 ruling in Marbury v. Madison to McDonald v. Chicago and Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission in 2010.
