Reports issued by International, Israeli and Palestinian human rights organizations accuse the Israeli state of committing the crime of apartheid. What these reports have omitted is the role of Israeli and International pro-Israeli civil society organizations in promoting the Israeli apartheid project and creating a consensus around it. Neve Gordon, a professor of international law and human rights at the Queen Mary University of London, highlights this civil society's role.
