In this week's episode the Hellmouth opens. You always remember your first Apocalypse. Will Buffy and her Boys be ready?

It's S01E12 "Prophecy Girl".

Key Buffy Bits from this episode include:

• Collision and dissolution: Buffy queers death
• Cordelia's Imperator Furiosa level driving skillz
• The symbolic sundering of the library - subtextual, textual and hypertextual transgression
• Diegetic cheesy electric guitar Theme Song solos
• Jokes aside, Buffy is a role model and at least one of us cries this week
• "I may be dead, but I'm still pretty. Which is more than I can say for you."
