I spent a good chunk of the first half of my 20s on building friendships that I hoped would last forever. Not all of them did, but very few made it up to this day which I am very grateful for.

In this week’s episode, I have one of my best friends who has been there through thin and thick. It should not be a surprise that she has such interesting stories to share with you all.  She was born in Kenya and after graduating from high school moved to Malaysia to pursue a degree in engineering. That is where we met and became roommates and best friends. Since then, she's traveled the world, finished her master's in Lyon, France, and is currently living in France.

Our friendship has continued since 2009 despite the distance between us. Let’s face it, some friendships are golden. They do not require too much maintenance because they are genuine. They do not happen too often, but when they do, I'd love to cherish it and nurture it. In this episode, Libby & I unpacked the story of our friendship and her experience of living/working/ studying in Kenya, Malaysia, and France. Hope you enjoy it!
