Interabled families exist within the world, and how they are represented on social media affects how the world sees them. In this episode of The Bitching and Bolusing Podcast, we sit down with Jamie Chong from @thechongfam . Jamie has managed to amass a large social media following all while maintaining privacy and autonomy for her disabled son. Jamie is a full time mother to her two children, having sacrificed a 13 year career in special education. Her journey in Special Ed. helped pave the way in which she represents not only her son, but her entire family on social media. Jamie is a prime example as to how a growing social media presence and privacy for children can coexist and we enjoyed hearing Jamies perspective and insight on this subject.
