In this episode of the Hispanic Heritage Month Series, Luis and Catherine tackle the topic of what it's like to be a Hispanic business owner in North Carolina with the help of members from the Mexican Consulate of North Carolina (Consulado de Mexico) and the North Carolina Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
First, you'll hear a first-hand account of what it's like to be a local Hispanic business owner with Victor Sandoval of VS Insurance. Then Patricia Perez, Deputy Consul General (Cónsul Adscrita) for the Mexican Consulate of North Carolina (Consulado de Mexico) shares the resources they provide to the local Mexican and Hispanic communtiy. Later, Suling Waler, Director of the North Carolina Hispanic Chamber of Commerce shares some statistics on the local Hispanic business community and the resources they have available as well.
