There are seasons when life looks fine on the outside, but inside something feels dry. We keep going, meet responsibilities, pray, serve, and show up, yet beneath the surface our hearts may feel weary, flat, discouraged, or drained.

The vision of Ezekiel is deliberately confronting. The valley is full of bones, and they are very dry. Humanly speaking, there is no future there. But God asks Ezekiel, “Can these bones live?”

That question is not only about bones. It is about hope. It is about whether the Holy Spirit can still bring life to the places we have quietly given up on.

Bruce reminds us that the bones did not restore themselves and the valley did not fix itself. Life came when the breath of God entered what was dead.

Today’s invitation is to bring the dry place in your life before God, not with pressure or demand, but with openness. The same Spirit who raised Christ from the dead has not lost His power.
