Darren Weale talks with Dawn from the Friends of Bromley Palace Park about how the Friends are progressing their great work of making the historic parkland in the centre of Bromley a valuable place for people, flora and fauna alike. Recorded in May at Bromley's Pedro Lounge, this is a reminder of just what good determined volunteers can achieve, even if the foxes, frogs, newts, tawny owls, random egg-laying ducks and resident heron Henry are unaware of the efforts made on their behalf. Dawn uses the words 'abundance of' twice to describe how well several species are doing, which is a delight for the volunteers and visitors to the park, young and old alike.
