Steven Salzberg is the Bloomberg Distinguished Professor of Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, and Biostatistics at Johns Hopkins University. He also worked on the Human Genome Project, sequenced the genomes of many bacteria, and his research group develops software for DNA sequence analysis.
