Welcome to the fourth and final State of the Sport, where we we have been taking a hard look at what is REALLY going on in various sports over the summer with a subject matter expert.

Today, Friend of the Show Christian Hinton will be dissecting the current State of the National Football League.

Around the league, there’s a lot of interesting storylines coming into the season. Can the Seattle Seahawks repeat as Super Bowl Champions? The Los Angeles Rams will have something to say about that with their Dream Team they built, led by newly acquired Myles Garrett. The Super Bowl runner-ups acquired AJ Brown this offseason, but the noise has been all off the field. Can the Bills or Ravens finally get over the hump in the AFC? Can the Chiefs make the Super Bowl for the sixth time in eight years? Can the Bears build off their momentum from last season?

For every thought of hope, there is also a thought of failure. Which teams that have Super Bowl expectations will be disappointed by their fanbases and what teams will have their seasons end by the middle of September?
