Bowman's Friends is a podcast created to connect and inform UK students of issues, events, and cool stuff on campus and the Lexington area. It is hosted by UK students, for the UK community. Our goal is to amplify student voices through advocating for equity, inclusion, and representation of all. On this episode, Gillian Stawiszynski and Samantha Valentino spoke with Will and Lyndon of Lexington's chapter of Food Not Bombs. As they describe it, Lexington Food Not Bombs "recovers fresh unused produce and other vegan food from individuals and organizations and cooks it to share with their neighbors in need."
