Several years ago, I was timid and shy. So timid that I found it difficult to defend myself if wrongly accused. In fact, instead of speaking up, I’ll just start crying. My parents knew this was not good and if  unaddressed, I might eventually grow up timid. So, they had a brilliant idea to send me to military school. This wasn’t the easiest decision for me and my parents, but in retrospect it turned out to be a very helpful one. The environment was wasn’t like my cozy home. It was full of regiments, discipline and trainings. Though it was uncomfortable, it made me grow. This experience is similar to what happens when God allows us go through situations that stretch us.
