Join Beth and Sam as they unpack the emotional depth of this timeless play while sipping on the Fall Vieux Carré and the Vanilla Life, two drinks inspired by the bittersweet beauty of the story.
Drink Recipes:
Fall Vieux Carré
- ¾ ounce sweet vermouth
- ¾ ounce calvados
- ¾ ounce rye whiskey
- 2 tsp. Benedictine
- Add a couple of dashes of cardamon and Peychaud’s bitters
- Add all to mixing glass; then add ice
- Stir until chilled
- Strain and pour into glass
- Garnish with a cherry
Vanilla Life
- (Mix in glass)
- Fill glass with ice
- 1 ounce Portland Syrups Vanilla Rooibos syrup
- 2 ounces vanilla vodka
- ½ tsp lemon juice
- Stir
- Top with club soda
- Garnish with a lemon
