Episode two gets dark. The Black Friday cast has little to do with consumerism (except for the obvious {cough} pop music {cough}) and more to do with the a grotesque darkness that one needs to engage with to get through this thing we call life. The Book of X is for all of us one of the great masterworks of 2019 and perhaps this new millennia. It is a comment on the time in a world that belongs to Etter alone. The dudes disagree to varying degrees regarding the supremely talented Billie Eilish's debut full-length but all loved Trillium's delicious black IPA. We test each others mettle throughout and frankly, if Nick M would have shut up a bit would have pumped out one of our most solid casts. Cheers!
