the bookies podcast is a monthly book club.  wear once a month a group of friends get together to read and review a book.  this month wear talking about Eaters of the dead by Michael Crichton.  a 3.6 on good reads.  Eaters of the dead is based on the historical manuscripts of Ibd Fadlan and his experiences with the men of the north in AD 922.  this book was adapted into a film the 13th warrior.  this work is heavily influenced by Beowulf.  this the first time we have read a Michael Crichton work.  I hope you enjoy Eaters of the Dead
