Filmmaker Hrishikesh Mukherjee, who explored poignant human relationships through films like Abhimaan featuring actors Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan, also had a flair for comedy which he proved by helming films like Chupke Chupke. His was the middle path which he turned into success, film after film.
