2023 is the 20th anniversary of the release of Mike Marshall and Chris Thile's album of mandolin duets 'Into the Cauldron'.
To mark the anniversary and celebrate the album, and the influence it's had on a whole generation of mandolin players, I've put together two very special episodes.
This is part 2, featuring interviews with mandolin players who were influenced by and love Into the Cauldron, including:
- Daniel Patrick (Mandolins and Beer podcast)
- Jarrod Walker (Billy Strings)
- Tristan Scroggins (Missy Raines/Scroggins & Rose)
- Dominick Leslie (Hawktail/Molly Tuttle)
- David Benedict (The Foreign Landers)
Don't forget to check out part 1, featuring a brand new interview with Mike Marshall about the album.
Daniel also did a great track by track interview with Mike Marshall on Mandolins and Beer - check that out too!
Happy picking!
Matt
