Black people are usually associated with basketball and football... and track. There are many other sports, such as swimming, that many blacks are phenomenal at, but the stigma off blacks don’t swim don’t allow us to shine a light on the amazing black swimmers. Mountain and rock climbing, canoeing, martial arts and other sports including Olympic sports are not as associated with black culture or people as it should be.
