We try to boil down the many, many, many subsets of documentary feature films and what makes a successful doc - both for the filmmaker and the viewer. We both did lots of research in the lead up to this episode with the hope that we would have a handle on the wide range of docs out there, but we still only manage to touch the surface. And, as always, we finish with recommendations for each other.
