In this episode, we are discussing the narrative that is pushed in media about African American progression in higher education. The unvetted data that most consume tells you that our students are entering universities and colleges at an alarming rate, however, that unbalanced truth leaves out key factors that reveal the unhealthy experience that our students experience in higher-ed. The factors of debt, completion rate, scholarships, and the number of years it takes to get degrees reveals the divide in this educational system.
